Today we walked to Delco Park in Kettering, it was about a 1.5 mile walk. We started the trip with a lecture from the author “Rob Boley”, he made us think deeply about metaphors and we then walked around to find inspiration for a metaphor. Here is one of mine “The colorful flowers decorate the boundless hills of green”. When we went we planned on playing a game called “man hunt” with a big group of people but ended up going to the volleyball nets instead! At first we played volleyball in groups of 6 and 7, then 3 new people went to the next net and began playing a game called “nuke em”. A few of us decided to play with them instead and eventually each side had 6 people! It was really fun!
